I've tried everything and even asked Apple for help - but there is no chance to get it past the review :-( I’ve found a workaround but unfortunately this won’t work for a sandboxed Mac App Store app or in other words: Such an app will never pass the review. Unfortunately, such a plugin bundle is not allowed anymore to access the file system in order to load the Colors Application library and to ‘listen’ for changes to that library. I’ve managed to write a Color Picker Plugin that enables you to access all colors, palettes and schemes stored in the Colors application. I'm just glad finally someone got their head out of their *ss !!! I work with colors daily and need an efficient worflow !!!

And I'm not getting paid for all this praise. It's one of those few apps that could go up there with DefaultFolder as a Mac's user "must haves". I just deleted all my other ColorPicker apps, though I did keep some "non-apps" colorpickers like Coolorus, Skala Color, Antetype and ProPicker (all are free except for Coolorus). But in any case I mostly work in Web Design these days. Some older picker way back could load Adobe's InDesign Pantone libraries. I'm not sure to what extent it could support Pantone libraries. I would really appreciate the ability for the window to be resizable. I REALLY HOPE IT TAKES OVER SUFFICIENTLY FOR THE DEV TO KEEP DEVELOPING IT OVER TIME. apart by Tangerine and ColorSchemer this is the best (both apps are not being developed anymore BTW). Never quite satisfied (I have no agent and no chef btw LoL Do you think I'm satisified ?!). I bought a whole bunch of these "ColorPicker" Apps. The only app you really need on top of Apple's limited and frustrating "toy-like" ColorPicker. BUT if you are in design, web design, graphics etc. I got all confused before and posted a zillion comments (my bad.

DON'T LOOK ANY FURTHER.Īnd the PRO version is non-AppStore, which to me is a bonus of sorts.
